The Girl

Hello! I'm Grace Anne, the girl behind Totally Graced. I am an aspiring author and choreographer, current college student, teacher, and wearer of a thousand (metaphorical) hats.

I'm head over heels in love with Jesus, something that you'll figure out very quickly if you stick around this little space of mine. I believe that we were created in the image of a creative God, and that because of this, we can't help but be creative ourselves. It spills out of us, whether we realize it or not. I believe that one of the most beautiful things that we can do in life is to glorify God through the excellence of our art, and in doing so, the world gains a little more magic.

For me, usually, that creativity comes out in the realms of writing and dance. I could ramble about either of those art forms for hours, but I'll just say that they have both shaped who I am as a person, and I am so grateful to live in a world where they exist.

I'm an introvert to the depths of my soul. INFJ, if we're getting technical. I've been told that I can fake extroversion pretty well, but trust me- it's just the theatre training. I am so far from it.

I'm in college to avoid becoming a starving artist, because, well, let's be honest, I'm a weird artsy kid. We always need a backup plan. So, I'm studying social media management and graphic design and writing and photography, all kinds of good stuff. I also work for a local bookstore, and teach dance classes. Life is never dull, but I feel so crazy lucky to get to work and study in areas that I love.

When I'm not occupied with school, work, or one of my various projects, you can find me laughing with friends, dancing everywhere that I go, singing constantly, loudly, and badly, or tucked away with a good book. Musical theatre gets me through life, and I'm determined to be Elle Woods when I grow up. I'm a crazy cat lady at heart, despite only having one cat. (I can guarantee you'll see photos of him. I'm a proud cat mom.) Long conversations are my favorite thing, only made better when cheesecake is involved. The beach is where I feel most at home. I'm a huge Disney fan, of the belief that the world always needs a bit more magic. Sleeping at Last is basically the music of my soul. And I really like getting to know new people. So, hi. I do hope that you stick around. ♥

Your turn! Tell me about yourself. I can't wait to get to know you.

I'm a juinor in highschool, I also write, love reading, act (not dance but similar-ish), and can so totally relate to having theater lyrics running through my head. Currently my drama group is doing a production of The Sound Of Music--I play Leisl! (so I hear "...I am sixteen going on seventeen..." in my head pretty much 24/7 lol) Anyway, your blog is a cute one, and I'm looking forward to reading more posts! ;)
