10 Reasons Why You Should Watch Fuller House

Sunday, February 28, 2016

I grew up watching Full House.

I can't remember when it was that my mom first showed us an episode of Full House, I was probably ten or eleven. We were having a quiet night at home, and she had DVR'd an episode for us to watch. I fell in love with the show, and we then proceeded to watch it like crazy, devouring the entire series. Since then we've re-watched many of the episodes, singing along to the theme song, happily quoting along with the characters, and majorly fangirling during Jesse and Becky's wedding as we sing Forever along with Jesse. I love that song so much oh my gosh.

So, when my best friend sent me a link about Fuller House...well, let's just say my fangirl meter went through the roof. I was screaming. A lot.

It came out on Netflix on Friday, and the Internet kind of blew up. I was scrolling through Instagram and it seemed like every other post had was mentioning Fuller House! I know of some people who had watched the entire season by midway through Saturday.

Of course, I had to watch it. I may have created a Netflix account for the sole purpose of watching Fuller House.... #noshame

So far, I've only watched the first three episodes, but I'm absolutely in love. Here are 10 reasons why YOU should watch Fuller House!!!

(All image credit to the original owners, found on Instagram)

1. The Gang's All Back!!!!

Minus the Olsen twins, we get to see the entire Full House gang, which is so much fun. It's hilarious seeing everyone all grown up, I just love it. Seeing how everyone has changed is so cool.

2. Shade is Thrown

Speaking of the Olsen twins, some major shade is thrown. And dear lord, it is beautiful.

3. The Characters Never Change

Joey is still the same fun, lovable goofball with a crazy style, goofy jokes, and the classic Mr. Woodchuck puppet. It's so great.

4. Like....At All

Kimmy Gibbler is honestly my favorite character on Fuller House. She is so funny, I can't even put it into words. She now has a daughter, Ramona, and is currently in the process of divorcing her soon-to-be-ex husband, Fernando, who is crazy all by himself. Apparently it's common for him to be constantly having an affair, thus the divorce.

5. THE KIDS

Max is basically Danny incarnate. It's absolutely hilarious...

6. The Flashbacks

There are SO many flashbacks to the original show, and I love it. Some people may get annoyed by them, but I love all of the old references. They're just so classic!

7. The Theme Song

It is literal perfection. I was completely freaking out, it was so funny seeing them in the exact same positions, but all grown up. Loved it.

8. Kimmy and Steph Make DJ Go Clubbing, and It's Beautiful

So far, it's my favorite episode. I was honestly laughing the entire time. Pure perfection.

9. It's Basically Just a Gender Reversed Version of the Original..and it's Great

DJ's husband passed away, and Steph and Kimmy are helping her to raise her kids. What on EARTH could ensue? Nothing but chaos. And we wouldn't want it any other way.

10. You'll Be Left Dying & Wanting More

Because it's perfection, and thirteen episodes is nowhere near enough. BRING ON SEASON 2!!!!

Tag Time!!!

Tuesday, February 23, 2016

(Before I begin, I'm currently quite angry with my little sister because THE PRINCESS DIARIES WAS ON TV AND SHE CHANGED THE CHANNEL LIKE NO THAT IS ILLEGAL OKAY??? THERE ARE LAWS AGAINST THAT. SHE JUST BROKE GENOVIAN CODE.)

Rant over.

Hello, lovelies!!! How are you all doing? I am doing wonderfully, because I have been nominated for not one but TWO tags!!! I absolutely love tags, and I'm super excited to do these. : )

First off, I was nominated for the Infinity Dreams Tag by the oh so amazing Olivia from over at Summer of 1999.  She's super sweet and her blog is full of amazingly written posts and gorgeous photography so you should check it out like, right now. AND SHE COMES UP WITH REALLY HARD TAG QUESTIONS AGH OLIVIA YOU DID NOT MAKE THIS EASY FOR ME. HELP.

Okay. I can do this.

So for this tag, you're supposed to answer the eleven questions given, and give eleven facts about yourself. Olivia only gave me ten questions, so I'm going to answer those, and then I'm terrible at coming up with facts about myself (I'm quite boring), so I don't know if I'll come up with eleven or not..we'll see how it goes haha.

1. // What is your favorite meal? Hmm. Anything Italian, honestly. If it involves pasta, I will eat it. Red sauce and cheese don't hurt either. Or bread. You can tell that I'm really into healthy eating.

2. // Do you have bookshelves in your room? Um, is this even a question? OF COURSE I HAVE BOOKSHELVES IN MY ROOM!!! I've run out of space on them, too. But it's impossible to have too many books so I just need more shelves!

3. // What is something you like about yourself? Um. I was told by a friend that one of my best qualities is that I'm the only person she'd trust to help pick out her hair color, so I'm going with that hahaha!!! Love ya, S;)

4. // Sweaters or flannel? Hmm. Probably sweaters, although I do love gigantic flannels. But I just love big sweaters. Haha, yesterday I was getting ready to go to my co-op and I was like, "Mom!! Where's my big sweater?? I need something to wrap up in so that I can pretend I don't exist!!"

5. // Greeks or Romans? ...I honestly have no idea. *buries face in hands* I don't have much of a preference haha.

6. // Favorite book of the Bible and why? GOSH OLIVIA YOU'VE ASKED ME THIS BEFORE AND IT'S SUCH A HARD QUESTION AGH. Last time I believe that I said either Psalms or Proverbs, and I still absolutely love those. But gosh I love so many different books...Exodus, Ephesians, 1 Corinthians.... I CAN'T PICK!

7. // Name you would name your first boy and girl? So if I didn't already have enough reasons that I shouldn't have children (I just can't see it happening...I think I'd make an awful mom hahaha), this is another one. I am so indecisive, I don't know what I would name my kids! Let's see. This is so hard, oh my goodness. For a boy...I've got no idea...I'll just pick a girl name (sorry Olivia! Breaking all the rules over here..) For a girl, I would have to say.... probably Adele (No, not because of the singer haha).

8. // Best candle scent? Ooh...either cinnamon or vanilla. I love those scents so much.

9. // One sentence to describe your best friend? (I know it's hard- I don't care) You're right this is a horribly difficult question. I can't do this!!! One sentence??? Gahhhh. Okay. A: She is one of the most hilarious, crazy, wonderful people that I have ever met in my entire life, she's my favorite person to plot insanity with, I can tell her about literally everything, and I'm so glad that we can be crazy people and obsess over random stuff together. That was a crazy long sentence BUT IT WAS ONLY ONE SENTENCE SO I KEPT IN OLIVIA'S INSANE GUIDELINES.

10. // Spirit animal? I think this is the easiest question here. A cat, hands down.

Random Facts:

1. I cannot clean my room without music; I'll go insane.
2. I love making lists.
3. I've never watched Psych, but apparently that's going to change on Saturday.
4. The first time I tried to use VSCO to edit photos I was kind of terrified and couldn't figure it out to save my life.
5. I just ate a cupcake and it was absolutely glorious.
6. You can tell that I'm getting desperate for conversation when I'm talking about eating cupcakes.
7. I'm super awkward I apologize.
8. I always feel like my life is so much more put together when my hair is straightened.
9. I have a gigantic hoard of notebooks.
10. I'm now on the tenth fact and I can't come up with anything.
11. The person that is reading this right now is really cool and I hope that you have a lovely day.

My Questions:

1. Describe your best friend in one sentence. (Because yes I'm putting you through the same torture that Olivia put me through.)
2. How do you like to wear your hair?
3. What song lyrics describe your life?
4. Worst book that you've ever read?
5. How do you want to spend the rest of your life?
6. Best class that you've ever taken?
7. Who has most impacted your life?
8. What inspired you to start your blog?
9. Can you cook? What's your favorite recipe?
10. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
11. Favorite movie quote?

Nominees: Elissa @ Letters to Jayna // Abbiee @ Abbiee // Autumn @ Autumn's Readings and Writings // Hannah @ Grace in Everything //

~~~~~
The second tag is the Liebster Award! I was nominated for this by the fabulous Leah over at Princess Leah! Leah is literally the best, she's super sweet and her blog always makes me so happy. SO YOU NEED TO CHECK HER OUT LIKE, RIGHT NOW!
For the Liebster, I get to answer another eleven questions, given to me by the fabulous Leah! So, let's get into it!
1. // Leather jacket or denim jacket? Probably a denim jacket.
2. // Do you have any stuffed animals in your room right now? Psh OF COURSE! I have SOOO many stuffed animals that it's not even funny. I cannot get rid of any of them it would be like disowning my child or something.
3. // Do you own/carry a pocket knife (or any knife really)? I have this little dagger thingy, but it kind of scares me because I am a blonde and blondes should not be given sharp objects.
4. // Favorite form of social media? Instagram!!! It's definitely my favorite. (I'm @totallygraced , you should check me out...shameless promo right there...)
5. // What is one thing that makes you livid!!!? ..Only one thing?? I mean I could rant forever but.... Okay, if I have to pick one thing, it would probably have to be people who think that they know everything about a certain topic or activity, but actually are equal with everyone else or fairly incompetent. People like that make me violent.
6. // What is one (or 10) of your weird habits or quirks? THERE ARE SO MANY I'M A STRANGE PERSON. But you all don't need to know any more of my weirdness than you already do so I'll just pick one. Apparently I have this weird habit of bouncing from foot to foot all the time, and tilting my head to the side a lot. I don't ever notice that I really do it but I've been told that it's a constant thing haha.
7. // What movie/show can you quote most lines from? Easy. The Princess Diaries. *glares at sister*
8. // Who/what are your favorite musicians/songs? Almost anything Broadway, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Kristin Chenoweth, Adele...there are more, I'm just blanking right now.
9. // Could you go without eating ice cream for a year? No. A world without ice cream is a world that I don't want to live in.
10. // What do you want more, a Polaroid camera or your choice of 20 books? Oh my gosh this is hard...hmm....I would probably have to choose the Polaroid because they're so cool, and I could get more books from the library. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!!
11. // If you could spend a whole day with a blogger, who would it be? I can't just pick one blogger. That is impossible. SO I'm going to say that it's a blogger party. And I would invite Leah (duh), Olivia, Rachel from Silver Mess, and Abbiee from Abbiee. We would have an absolutely wonderful day full of chocolate.
My Questions:
1. Quote that you live by?
2. Favorite Bible verse?
3. What do you always procrastinate doing?
4. What is the one thing that can make your day instantly better?
5. Biggest source of stress?
6. How do you get rid of stress?
7. Best moment of your life?
8. Favorite holiday?
9. Five words to describe your best friend?
10. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?
11. Biggest pet peeve?
Nominees: Elisabeth @ a flyleaf // Katie @ A Writer's Faith // Abby @ Purple Roses // Rachel @ Silver Mess //
~~~~~

Reading- blog posts from EVERYONE, and hopefully I'll be starting All the Light I Cannot See soon, once my library gets it in! I really need some book recommendations, what's your favorite book? PLEASE COMMENT BELOW I NEED HELP.

Watching- Hallmark movies- surprise surprise! I've also been watching lots of Boy Meets World reruns lately, haha. We watched Cory and Topanga's wedding today, gosh, I love that episode. THERE ARE SO MANY EMOTIONAL SPEECHES THOUGH IT KILLS ME I TELL YOU.

Trying- to stop procrastinating with LITERALLY EVERYTHING. It's bad, guys.

Cooking- ...nothing? I hardly ever cook haha. I do have to bake like, ninety cupcakes on Sunday, though, for a school fundraiser on Monday. That's definitely going to be interesting...

Eating- way too much stuff that involves sugar. Help.

Drinking- waterrrrrrrrrr!!!!! I've actually started to drink a lot more water, it's been good. I'M FINALLY REMEMBERING!!

Calling- a couple of my close friends. I hardly ever talk on the phone, but I've been calling people almost every day this week, which has been slightly weird but nice. Although I still slightly freak out when I get a call because hello #socialanxiety right here.

Texting- lots of people about prom, drivers permits, and Hamilton. Mainly Hamilton.

Pinning- lots of ballerina photos on my personal, and lots of clothing ideas and quotes on my blog's Pinterest. My blog has this lovely aesthetic pinterest and then there's my personal which is a giant mishmash of every crazy thing under creation. It's great.

Crafting- earlier in the week, Valentine's Day cards. I need to get onto a new craft project, maybe working on redoing my bedroom walls. I also really want to start hand-lettering again, I haven't done that in ages and I miss it.

Doing- too much schoolwork, and not enough work on my novel and not enough blogging. I miss writing! I've seriously got to catch up in both of those areas.

Going- to rehearsal after rehearsal. I've had four rehearsals/classes almost every week. I'm telling you, it's so hectic.

Loving- the fact that it's only a month until Dancing With The Stars comes back, apple strudel, journaling, warmer weather, VLOGS *pointed look at certain bloggers*, having a clean room, Pandora, days at home, Hamilton being on the Grammy's, ticking things off of my to-do list, and ballet.

Hating- SCHOOL, early mornings, and cold weather.

Discovering- that for certain school subjects I go crazy without music, and other subjects I go crazy with it. Also that I'm really not that great at trying to be in charge, BUT I'M TRYING TO GET BETTER AT IT!!!

Enjoying- sleep and food and friends and life.

Thinking- about how awesome Abbiee and Olivia's Q&A vlogs were, and how much fun they look. But I kind of have this hate/hate relationship with videos sooooooo. Also thinking about how I've really got to get organized. This is getting pathetic.

Feeling- tired and sick of school but happy and excited because I have a lot of theatre stuff coming up. : )

Hoping- that I don't totally bomb my Anatomy test, and that *maybe* I'll get my right split in the next few weeks!

Listening- to Hamilton. Non-Stop.

Celebrating- getting a 96 on my history test, and the fact that this morning's rehearsal was one of the best that we've had. I'm not in this show, I'm the dance captain for it, but it's so cool seeing it all come together.

Smelling- biscuits in the oven. Oh my goodness I love that smell.

Thanking- heaven that I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow. I GET TO STAY HOME AND GET THINGS DONE AND INTROVERT YAY!!

Considering- redoing my blog design. Let's face it we all know it needs to happen.

Starting- to wonder if anyone is actually reading this and feeling quite sorry for you all because this is so rambl-y.

Finishing- a game of Words With Friends, and this blog post!

10 Fun Ways To Spend Valentine's Day- Without A Date!! ♥

Friday, February 12, 2016

I know that a lot of teenage girls tend to get frustrated around Valentine's Day because they're single. Personally, though, I've always loved Valentine's Day- a whole holiday celebrating pink, chocolate, flowers, and making cards for friends?? I see no issue here.

Nevertheless, I know that some people don't share my feelings, and they spend the day moping because they don't have a boyfriend. SO, I'd like to prove to you all that you can have an absolutely fabulous Valentine's Day, AND be a single pringle.

BOYS ARE UNNECESSARY, LADIES!!!!!!

This has been Daily Rants With Grace Anne. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

  ♥ ~~~~~~ ♥

1. Have a movie night!! Valentine's Day is the perfect day to watch some chick flicks. My personal favorites are anything on Hallmark, and of course no movie night is complete without The Princess Diaries! Throwing in some Disney never hurts, either. (In other words, I'm giving you an excuse to watch Tangled for the seventeenth time. You're welcome.)

2. Plan a girls' night out with your friends! Make plans to go out for dinner, dessert, or to a coffee shop. Nothing's more fun than getting dressed up to hit the town with some of your favorite people! Plus, planning Valentine's Day outfits is always super fun.

3. Eat chocolate. Literally anything chocolate. Personally I suggest chocolate chip cheesecake with hot cocoa, but that's just an idea... (I'm trying to involve as much chocolate here as possible if you can't tell.)

4. Make handmade Valentine's Day cards! I love spending time to craft the perfect card for someone, it's so much fun. I'm planning to make my cards tomorrow; it's going to be fun! Put on some great music, grab a plate of cookies, and get crafting!

5. Read about your favorite fictional couple! What better day to obsess over your favorite romance than Valentine's Day?

6. Valentine's Day is the perfect weekend to forget about calories and splurge on sweets, so why not bake something? Cookies, cupcakes, brownies- yum! Plus, you can totally go crazy on the seasonal sprinkles. SPRINKLES ARE YOUR FRIEND, GIRL!!

7. Get Valentine's Day doughnuts from Krispy Kreme. This is a requirement. THEY'RE THE LEGIT BEST.

8. Paint your nails! Painting your nails a fun red or pink is a great way to feel a bit more festive. I can't decide what color to do mine, but they're in definite need of some sprucing up.

9. Spend some quality time with your cat. That's my plan. #crazycatladyforlife

10. JUST ENJOY THE DAY AND DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!!! PLEASE don't waste the day obsessing over being single. I have way too many friends who do that, and they just make themselves miserable. Have a good day! Read a book, play a game, call a friend- enjoy life. Don't waste it obsessing over the lack of a guy in your life. Trust me, it's just silly.

Weekly Wrap-Up

Saturday, February 6, 2016

Hey, everyone!! Whew, this has been a busy week. It's been good though, lots of fun things going on. The only downside has been that I haven't had a ton of time to get schoolwork done, so I'm super behind. This weekend is definitely going to be a weekend full of catching up. I really hate being behind, even though I don't like doing school. It stresses me out! Gosh. I WILL BE PRODUCTIVE!! I CAN DO IT!!

Isn't it crazy that Valentine's Day is a week from tomorrow? I have a fundraiser the next day, so my Valentine's Day will be spent baking about a million cupcakes haha. Fingers crossed that it goes well and I don't pull my hair out in the process! Thankfully my mom will be helping me so that I don't destroy the kitchen.

I really need some new reading material. I was thinking the other day about how I really haven't read anything new lately, and I want to change that. Do y'all have any good book recommendations? HELP ME!!!

Made Me Smile:

Going swing dancing for the first time with all of my friends. Even though I knew how to swing dance already, it was my first time actually going, and it was SO much fun. Now I want to do it again!!!

I finally got up the nerve to go back to ballet....and I loved it! I was sooooo nervous, and the entire class I felt like I was doing terribly. But then at the end of class, the teacher came up and was super encouraging, and she said that soon I'll be able to get pointe shoes and that she's going to help me get to where I'm able to move up another class level! I'm really excited:)

Longgggg talks with people I haven't seen in a while.

Learning seriously awesome dance routines for our spring musical! The number that we worked on yesterday was so much fun, I loved it.

Ugh:

I. Am. So. Sore. In the last two days I've had ballet, two rehearsals, and swing dancing, and it's basically a miracle that I'm even able to move at this point. In a way I don't mind being sore but gosh I'd like to be able to walk up stairs without wanting to die.

School. School. School. School. School.

Loving:

Guys. GUYS. You can get frozen hot pretzels at the grocery store and then heat them up AND THEY TASTE JUST LIKE THEY'RE FROM AUNTIE ANNE'S. IT'S AMAZING.

Sleep Sleep Sleep Sleep Sleep

Ed Sheeran music. I always love it but I've been particularly obsessed lately. Between that and Hamilton, it's basically all I'm listening to. It's so good to listen to when you're stressed out. So in other words, I just need to have it constantly playing and life will be good.

Giant cozy sweatshirts and soft sleep pants. I would honestly spend my entire life wearing them.

Pinning:

This little alcove is just the cutest!

Yep yep yep. Soul = Destroyed.

This is a great writing quote...

Can this be my room? Please?

How was your week?

Happy February!

Monday, February 1, 2016

Happy February!! One month of the year is now completed! That's weird. On the plus side, I've finally started to remember to write 2016 instead of 2015, so that's good!

January was an alright month. It felt kind of chaotic and harried, so I'm hoping to not have quite as much of that in February. I'm soooo behind on school, I really just want to catch up. We also had an insane amount of rehearsing to do, which I don't think is going to calm down as the next few months go on. I love it but gosh, it's stressful.

February is kind of a 'blah' month, to be honest. It's so cold and grey and busy and agh. I miss summer. I know I should be enjoying second semester- I have lots of friends who are graduating, and I want to enjoy the time that I have left with them. I suppose I'll have to start looking at the more positive side of things!!! ENJOY THE PRESENT!!!!!

Plus, February has Valentine's Day (also known as Consume As Much Chocolate As Possible Day), and I'm going to a swing dancing night this weekend, which should be fun. There we go, already working on positives!!!!! :D

-----

Okay, so monthly resolution time! I didn't do TOO badly for January..well...

Well, that's 4/6 of my monthly resolutions completed!! I'm pretty happy with that.

-----

Now for this month's resolutions. Hmm.

-Watch more Once Upon A Time
-Make a blogging schedule and stick to it
