Weekly Wrap-Up

Hey, everyone!! Whew, this has been a busy week. It's been good though, lots of fun things going on. The only downside has been that I haven't had a ton of time to get schoolwork done, so I'm super behind. This weekend is definitely going to be a weekend full of catching up. I really hate being behind, even though I don't like doing school. It stresses me out! Gosh. I WILL BE PRODUCTIVE!! I CAN DO IT!!

Isn't it crazy that Valentine's Day is a week from tomorrow? I have a fundraiser the next day, so my Valentine's Day will be spent baking about a million cupcakes haha. Fingers crossed that it goes well and I don't pull my hair out in the process! Thankfully my mom will be helping me so that I don't destroy the kitchen.

I really need some new reading material. I was thinking the other day about how I really haven't read anything new lately, and I want to change that. Do y'all have any good book recommendations? HELP ME!!!

Made Me Smile:

Going swing dancing for the first time with all of my friends. Even though I knew how to swing dance already, it was my first time actually going, and it was SO much fun. Now I want to do it again!!! 

I finally got up the nerve to go back to ballet....and I loved it! I was sooooo nervous, and the entire class I felt like I was doing terribly. But then at the end of class, the teacher came up and was super encouraging, and she said that soon I'll be able to get pointe shoes and that she's going to help me get to where I'm able to move up another class level! I'm really excited:)

Longgggg talks with people I haven't seen in a while. 

Learning seriously awesome dance routines for our spring musical! The number that we worked on yesterday was so much fun, I loved it.


I. Am. So. Sore. In the last two days I've had ballet, two rehearsals, and swing dancing, and it's basically a miracle that I'm even able to move at this point. In a way I don't mind being sore but gosh I'd like to be able to walk up stairs without wanting to die. 

School. School. School. School. School.


Guys. GUYS. You can get frozen hot pretzels at the grocery store and then heat them up AND THEY TASTE JUST LIKE THEY'RE FROM AUNTIE ANNE'S. IT'S AMAZING.

Ed Sheeran music. I always love it but I've been particularly obsessed lately. Between that and Hamilton, it's basically all I'm listening to. It's so good to listen to when you're stressed out. So in other words, I just need to have it constantly playing and life will be good.

Giant cozy sweatshirts and soft sleep pants. I would honestly spend my entire life wearing them.

  2. HEY YOU CAN DO IT, GIRL. I believe in you. And I hate having to catch up on things, too. But I always end up doing that! Whhhyy do I dooo thaaaat?? Procrastination is just too easy, I guess. ugh. CUPCAAAAAAAAKESSSS. ♥ Cupcakes are love. hmm I don't think I have any book recommendations -- just because I barely read ever. XD but I'll recommend my book when it's published someday SO YEAH. But you'll need something to read in the meantime...haha.

    Sounds like you had so much fun, spending time with friends and getting back into ballet!! OH AND BEING SORE. I'm sooo sore today, too. I totally killed my chest doing presses yesterday and oh man I'm ready to just relax with some tea and Downton Abbey. HOW I LOVE SUNDAYS, LET ME COUNT THE WAYS. (omg that rhymed.)

    DUDE OH MY WORD I LITERALLY WAS GAWKING AT THOSE SAME EXACT BEDROOM PICTURES ON PINTEREST THE OTHER DAY LIKE WHAT IS LIIIIFE. ♥ that is so cool. And yes, I want that room, too. XD my week was packed full of workworkwork and like 10 hours of non-profit work and basically my brain is fried. but it was good. I love these posts + catching up on what you've been up to lately!! :)

Like I'll wake up and it's like YEAH I'M GONNA BE PRODUCTIVE TODAY oh wait nevermind falling into the black hole of procrastination sorry. xD CUPCAKES ARE FABULOUS!! Although after I make like, a hundred, I may not love them quite so much. WHEN YOU PUBLISH YOUR BOOK I WILL READ THE HECK OUT OF THAT THING GIRLY.

  3. My week was quite wonderful! My mum and I booked our Europe adventure last night so that is super exciting! Oh and for book recommendations, I would suggest 'Let's Get Lost' by Adi Alsaid. It's super cute and it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside after you've finished it! Happy reading!

    No, not better, but at least I'm using regular capitalization and punctuation. I am so excited, if you can't tell, that you went back to ballet! Embrace those sore muscles! And Ed Sheeran is my jam this week (I cried to a trailer with his song actually). And books. I'm currently loving the Lunar series, starting with Cinder, and I think that you would like them!
