Weekly Wrap-Up

Hello, blogger-land!!! I had fun writing the Weekly Wrap-Up post last week, so I decided to do another. I might start doing them every single week, I'm not sure yet. Anyways, this past week has been kind of standard. Go crazy trying to get all of my schoolwork done, still somehow manage to get behind on Geometry, and procrastinate on getting my room cleaned up. That's a project I really need to get on...

Does anyone ever get to the point where there's something that you really need to do, you know that you need to do it, and you even somewhat want to do it, just so that it's off of your mind, but you just can't seem to motivate yourself to do it? That's been me for the past week on several things, and UGH it's so annoying! Like, I know that I need to do it. But I can't seem to make myself do it. Any motivation tips?

Oh well. My goal is to get a bit more motivated this next week. Labor Day will give me a bit of a break, so hopefully that'll help.

Anyways, here's a peek into my week!

Made Me Smile:

Cheesecake bars. They are my new best friends.

I had my first dance class this week, and that was absolutely fabulous! I was soooooo sore afterwards, but I actually kind of like being sore. And I'm already a bit more flexible, so I'm really thrilled with that.

The DWTS cast was announced, and I'm super psyched for the season to start up! I maaaaay have spent a good deal of time Instagram stalking everyone on the show.

Spending classes laughing with friends over stupid stuff.

Ugh:

Mornings when you have to get out the door, and every. little. thing. goes. wrong. Makeup is a mess, no time to finish hair, stuff goes missing, etc. I hate it...

8 a.m. classes. That's self explanatory.

Just mornings in general, okay?

Geometric proofs. They hate me and the feeling is mutual.

Loving:

The moment when I finally finish my schoolwork!

Goldfish with peanut butter. Yes, it sounds disgusting, but TRY IT. It's actually really good!

Finding new blogs:)

The songs "Raining" and "I'm Done" from Rocky the musical- sooooooo good!!! I keep getting them stuck in my head which I both love and hate. *refrains from typing out entire song*

Pinning:

I'm suddenly really hungry....

This is so beautiful!!

I love this quote

I adore this outfit! I'll have to try that, a sweater over a dress. I really want a skirt or dress in that blush color, it's gorgeous!

How was your week?

  1. Grace Anne, try thinking about how clean your room is going to be, and how good it will look, you will feel so much better when it is. A clean room helps me be less stressed so I can think properly!

Start playing upbeat music, Broadway or Pop, sing your heart out and start cleaning, maybe even dance a little while doing so. ;)

Trust me you are not alone I love the Tocky soundtrack so much, it is so good! I have been waiting for someone to listen so I wouldn't have to fangirl alone!

    Love you Sophie!

  2. I have a class that ends at 7:05 (forgot when it starts, at that point I'm too tired to think about times). I've been in school for three days and I don't know how I'm going to make it.

CHEESCAKE BARS? Those exist? Seriously hungry now.

I think the worst part of waking up is how cold you get. The forecast could be 80-degree weather (pretty high for where I live) and I'd be putting on a sweater in the morning. Like, can clothes have a heating pad on them please?

Aw, I love that outfit! I love clothes and shopping but whenever I go shopping my self-esteem lowers like 70% because I'm always too short and small to wear any of the clothes.

My week was okay. I survived the first week of school and all, but I just got rejected by an agent last night (yes, I DID send my story finally) so it wasn't ideal.

    1. Oh. My. Gosh. 7:05???? THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!!

Yes!!!! They're amazing!!!!!! I'll have to post the recipe sometime:):)

Exactly, mornings are SO cold. It's horrible. I'm always freezing in the morning, and it's pretty warm where I live usually. Ugh.

Haha, same here. Short people problems!!!! Everything is so long and wide! Ugh. SHORT PEOPLE EXIST, TOO!!!

Oh no, I'm so sorry. :'( I know that's super disappointing. You'll get one soon, I know it!!!

    2. Yeah it's pretty painful… I slept to like, 11:00 today and I usually don't sleep in past 9;00. Soooo tired

Plus I look younger than I am so whenever I'm in a nice store everyone's looking at me like I shouldn't be there and ugh I hate it. SHORT PEOPLE EXIST.

Thanks. The quote "It is impossible to live without failing at something--" by JK Rowling made me feel a lot better. There's still two agents that haven't replied, and it's usually a six-week wait, so hopefully they'll like it better.

EXACTLY. IM OLDER THAN I LOOK, PEOPLE. DONT JUDGE ME.

Fingers crossed!!! That's really a great quote, it's so true. I'm sure that it will work soon!!

  4. Hi grace! Hope you're having fun with school mornings. I'm SO HAPPY because this school year we start at 8:30 not 8 (I'm usually late anyway, so this is good for me). Unfortunately, because of this I sometimes have music in the mornings at 7:40, which sucks. What kind of dancing do you like? And I'm hungry too now. ~Shar
