Happy Pirate Day!!!!

That's right guys....IT'S PIRATE DAY!!!!! 

For those of you who don't know what on earth I'm talking about I'm sorry. You have truly missed out on the highlights of life.

Today, September 19, is Talk Like a Pirate Day. Now, I know you're thinking I'm crazy right about now. But hang with me. There is a reason for this madness, and it can be explained in one simple word.

Doughnuts.

So, in the spirit of the day, Krispy Kreme has a special offer for all of the pirates out there. If you go to your Krispy Kreme wearing 3 Pirate items, (hat, bandanna, eyepatch, earring, parrot, peg leg, etc.) you get A FREE DOZEN GLAZED DOUGHNUTS! Is that amazing or what? So my sisters and I dressed up and headed over this morning. Here's the result-

Yep, that's right. 3 dozen delicious doughnuts. Will this make me gain five pounds? Probably. Do I regret it? Not. At. All.

Who needs a boyfriend when you've got doughnuts?

Mellow Yellow!

I'm in love with this yellow polish! It's super cute, don't you think? Yesterday I decided my nails needed a POP of color, and this Polish was perfect! It's the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow. I love my Sally Hansen polishes! <3 What's your favorite brand of polish?

My Makeup Bag

So, this is my makeup bag, where I keep *most* of my makeup. The things like big containers of powder or my liquid foundation don't always fit in there, but other than that, this bag basically holds everything I need! I got it as a gift, and I love it. :) I'm not sure how well it translates in this photo, but it's basically a denim look, with bright pink trimming. It has kind of a plastic covering, which is great if something spills. My old makeup bag was actually fabric, and I have a black stain on it from when my liquid eyeliner tube leaked EVERYWHERE. (That was awful, by the way...) If anywthing gets on this bag, it just wipes right off! Luckily I haven't had my eyeliner leak again, but whenever I've gotten some powder on it, it wipes right off, whereas it would probably have stained my old bag.

It also has plenty of room, for all of my eyeliners, shadows, lipglosses, mascaras, lipsticks, and brushes.

So, like I said, this was a gift, but I think it's from Forever 21, so if you're looking for a new makeup bag, Forever 21's the place to go!

Such a sad, sad day. :( Thirteen years ago, so many lives were lost or changed forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families who were affected by this tragedy. <3

39 Clues Doublecross Theory- Warning-Contains Flashpoint spoilers!!!

First off, I'd like to say, THIS PARAGRAPH IS NOT MINE!!! I merely found it on the internet. I have to say, I fangirled SO HARD reading this. What if Cara really IS bad? And Amy and Ian end up together?? I have to say, it makes a lot of sense. My Amian heart is brimming with hope right about now. I don't really know what to think, but a girl can hope, can't she? My fellow 39 Clues fans, what do you think? Send me your opinions!! I really need to know what other people think of this!!

Cute and Easy Hairstyle!!

So, this hairstyle is SUPER easy, it only takes about five minutes and you're out the door! My hair's kind of curly today, can you tell? It's always somewhat wavy/curly, which is both a blessing and a curse, to be honest. Usually I straighten or curl it, but I was trying to be quick this morning. It also looks kind of dark in this photo, which is weird. I guess it's just the lighting. Anyways, so, here's how to achieve this look!! (I'm just putting a written tutorial in here because I couldn't exactly figure out how to get this on camera, it looked really weird. Plus, it's so simple that I'm sure you all can get it just like *that* !! I have faith in you girls!!!)

1. Part your hair whichever way you normally do. I always part mine on the right side.

2. Take the front section of your hair on whichever side of your hair is thicker. So, since I part my hair on the right side, I have more hair on the left side. 

3. Brush that section of hair back, and secure it with a few bobby pins. 

See how the bobby pins cross over each other? It's more secure that way. 

It's as easy as that!! Sorry if that was kind of confusing, I worked on this for ages but just can't seem to get it right. I hope that it was helpful! Comment if you need any more photos or explanation, I'm more than happy to help. Let me know what you guys think!! I would love some opinions!

Happy September, girls!!! It's starting to feel like fall, although here in the South, we're still enjoying some nice warm weather :) Hoping that it lasts! Personally, I'm not a huge fan of fall/winter, but I'll try to make the best of it I suppose. I do have some exciting posts planned for the next few months, so keep checking my blog to read more! :)
